Global Outlook 2025

New realities for Europe As global polarization accelerates, this year’s Global Outlook takes stock of a more transactional and interest-based world order and a volatile world economy. Will Europe be able to stay together? How can we succeed in the high ambitions of a green, resilient and democratic Europe?

The Global Outlook 2025 took place Tuesday 12th August at Arendalsuka, Norway’s biggest political and societal festival offering over 2,000 seminars and events over five days. It is attended by Norwegian activists, policy and decision makers from civil service, business and politics. Entry is free for all arrangements.

    • "Hope for Europe lies in action" - Colombe Cahen-Salvador, Co-Founder Atlas & Candidate for United Nations Secretary-General

    • Panel discussion on the coming flood of disinformation with Nina Jankowicz, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the American Sunlight Project, and Oksana Brovko, CEO of the Association of Independent Regional Press Publishers of Ukraine.

 

Global Outlook was moderated by Anita Pratap , international journalist, author and documentary filmmaker.
